Terms and conditions
Last updated 28 October 2026
1.Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using ComplianceOS (the "Service"), you agree to these terms and conditions. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you agree to them on its behalf and confirm you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2.Accounts and access
Access is by invitation from your organisation's administrator. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
Tell your administrator promptly if you suspect unauthorised use of your account. We may suspend access that appears to be compromised.
3.Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to break the law, to access devices or data you are not authorised to manage, to interfere with or disrupt the Service, or to attempt to bypass its security or access controls.
You must only install the agent on devices your organisation owns or is permitted to manage, and in line with any notice or consent your local laws require.
4.Your data
Your organisation keeps ownership of the data it collects and stores in the Service, including device inventory, compliance results and audit records. We process that data only to provide and support the Service.
Your organisation is responsible for having a lawful basis to collect device and user data, and for how it uses that data.
5.The agent software
The agent is licensed, not sold, for use with the Service on your organisation's devices. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute it except where the law allows.
The agent may update itself automatically to stay compatible and secure.
6.Third-party services
The Service can connect to third-party services that you choose to enable, such as identity providers, vulnerability databases, SIEM tools or AI providers. Their own terms govern your use of them, and we are not responsible for their availability or content.
7.Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design and documentation, is owned by Brain Station 23 PLC and its licensors. These terms do not grant you any rights to it beyond those needed to use the Service as described here.
8.Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, add or remove features over time.
9.Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Compliance reports reflect the data devices reported; they support, but do not replace, your own assessment or a formal audit.
10.Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of the Service.
11.Suspension and termination
We or your organisation may suspend or end your access at any time, including if you breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as the disclaimer and limitation of liability, survive termination.
12.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
13.Contact
Questions about these terms should go to your organisation's administrator in the first instance, or to Brain Station 23 PLC.
